2014-2015 THS Boys' Volleyball

Tucson High Boys' Volleyball finished the 2014-2015 season with the most successful boys' volleyball teams in school history. We had three levels, who all had winning records. Varsity finished 2nd in their section, 14th in the state (highest rank ever), and also hosted the first round of state for the first time. We are looking to continue the successes of last season and turn hard work, discipline, & winning into a tradition for Tucson High Boys' Volleyball.
2014-2015 Teams
Varsity Our Varsity team finished their regular season with a record of 14-3 and an overall record of 24-12! We finished the season ranked 14th in the state. Several of our players were recognized as top athletes within our section & the city of Tucson!
Junior Varsity BOur JV B team finished their season with a record of 8-5! This team is comprised of brand new volleyball players and players who have never played "organized" volleyball before.

Junior Varsity A Our JV A team finished their season with a record of 10-6! Last year our JV team went 3-12. What a vast improvement in such a short period of time.

These four wonderful young women have been incredible this season! Our volleyball program would not have run smoothly without their help. They have washed countless loads of laundry, shagged balls during practices, lined judged during games, filled endless amounts of water bottles, kept stats during varsity matches, as well as many, many, many other tasks. All of us greatly appreciate their help, dedication, and contributions they have made to the program this season! |
